Why We Focus on Non-Residents and Overseas Property Owners

Managing Japanese tax matters from outside Japan often involves notices, records, payment deadlines, property documents, and tax filings that must be coordinated across different locations and time zones.

Kudan Partners focuses on the practical issues that arise when non-residents and overseas owners manage Japanese tax matters while abroad. Our aim is to make the agreed process clear, documented, and manageable in English.

How We Can Help

Our main English-language services include:

Each matter is reviewed on its own facts. Before a service begins, we confirm the work to be performed, the applicable fee, and the information needed to proceed.

Why We Work in Writing

Written communication is our standard way of working with overseas clients. It gives you a clear record of the facts, questions, documents, deadlines, and agreed next steps.

Email and secure online tools make it easier to communicate accurately across time zones, review important information carefully in English, and keep the process clear for everyone involved.

Starting the Process

You can begin with a Free Eligibility Check by sharing basic, non-sensitive information about your situation. We will check whether your matter may fit our services.

Where appropriate, we may offer an Initial Written Case Review before an engagement begins. Please see our Fees page for current fee information.
